Intellectual Property Rights
Under these Terms, Property Police owns all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website.
You are granted a limited license only for purposes of viewing, and communicating.
General Community Restrictions
Dashboard for clients
Users must stick to the primary rules of Property Police, share content that he or she or they must have been approved to share.
Users must not attempt to cheat the Property Police system, any attempt can be criminally prosecuted. Property Police will seek redress in a competent court of law.
Document forgery, Property misrepresentation, Account fraud, and any sort of crime committed while using proptai will be reported to the right authorities.
Terms for Lawyers
The lawyer must review all documents on title regarding any commissioned investigation and must retain notes on the search of title with respect to every real estate file.
The lawyer will advise on the situation of a title, the location of easements, state the impact of restrictive covenants, subdivision and other agreements affecting the investigated title.
The lawyer must state any regular or irregular pattern of inactive or deleted, or changed instruments on the register and inquire about and report any suspicious patterns of transfers.
The lawyer should not discuss the identity of the client with a third party or any other party apart from Proptai.
After the electronic transfer of investigation reports, Lawyer is expected to treat the files as old, and irrelevant.
A lawyer is not expected to transact with anyone on behalf of Property Police without express permission from Property Police.
The lawyer must understand that funds are paid according to milestones.
The lawyer must use the milestone function in order to keep the client informed of operations in real-time.
The lawyer should not undertake commissions without properly assessing if he or she is competent to handle investigation without undue delay, risk or expense to Proptai.
The lawyer must keep up to date with changes in the law and policies, professional requirements, community standards, legal techniques and practices.
The lawyer must disclose all information regarding an investigation, and must not act in any way against the Rules of Professional Conduct.
Lawyers must attach their seals on the investigation report.
The lawyer shall report with reasonable promptness all investigation reports within 2 days.
Lawyers will be reported to the NBA & necessary authorities for any issues of fraud and misrepresentation.
The lawyer shall not permit anyone, including a non-lawyer employee or agents, partner or colleague, family or friend, enemy or use the lawyer's identity or Property Police account.
Lawyer is expected to cover all listed report categories, including those that are professionally needed but not mentioned by Property Police.
The lawyer must document the legally agreeable use of property on investigation report, not limited to:
The number of units on the property;
The manner in which the property is serviced, (public or private).
Whether the property is tenanted?
Whether the property is located on a ravine, waterfront or highway or adjacent to any significant physical features;
whether the property is subject to form of scientific installation or production site; and any other matter that may impact on the standard of living, and investment.
In these Website Standard Terms and Conditions, “ Your Content” shall mean any audio, video text, images or other material you choose to display on this Website. By displaying Your Content, you grant Proptai a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, sub-licensable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate and distribute it in any and all media without any form of financial responsibility attached.
Your Content must be your own and must not be invading any third-party's rights. Company Name reserves the right to remove any of Your Content from this Website at any time without notice.
No warranties This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and Proptai expresses no representations or warranties of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.
Limitation of liability In no event shall Property Police nor any of its officers, directors, and employees shall be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website whether such liability is under contract. Proptai including its officers, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.
Indemnification You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Property Police and its Third party partners like Facebook, Google, Twitter , tc from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.
Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provision shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.
Variation of Terms Property Police is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.
Assignment Property Police is allowed to assign, transfer, and subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without any notification. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.
Entire Agreement These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Proptai and you in relation to your use of this Website and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
Governing Law & Arbitration
BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT. AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE. YOU AGREE TO RESOLVE ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CONTROVERSIES OR CLAIMS THAT IN ANY WAY ARISE OUT OF OR RELATE TO THESE TERMS OR FROM ANY SERVICES YOU RECEIVE FROM US (OR FROM ANY ADVERTISING FOR ANY SUCH SERVICES), INCLUDING ANY DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND OUR EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS (“DISPUTE(S)”), ONLY BY ARBITRATION ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS. EXCEPT IN CRIMINAL MATTERS WHICH WILL HAVE TO GO TO A COMPETENT COURT OF LAW.
These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Nigeria for the resolution of any disputes.
